Black Pepper Tea

Black Pepper Tea

Makes 2-3 Servings

Note: If you tend to run very hot and dry, this tea may not be for you. This tea is drying (that's sort of the point) and heating. It is meant for people suffering symptoms related to excess water and earth in the body and mind. Symptoms include excessive mucous, feeling cloudy headed, heavy, or lethargic, or feeling stuck. Do not exceed 3 cups a day.

Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add 1/4 tsp of WHOLE black peppercorns. Cover and let steep 5-10 minutes. Strain and drink before meals.
