Why this Recipe is good for us:

1. Turmeric – The Anti-Inflammatory Powerhouse

Turmeric isn’t just for curry—it’s one of Ayurveda’s most powerful healing spices. Its active compound, curcumin, is a natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant that helps reduce stress-related inflammation in the body. Turmeric also supports brain health, digestion, and immune function, making it an essential ingredient for overall well-being.

2. Nutmeg – The Sleep & Relaxation Spice

Nutmeg isn’t just for holiday baking! This warm, aromatic spice is known for its calming effects on the nervous system. It contains myristicin, a natural compound that helps relax the mind, promote restful sleep, and even ease anxiety and tension. It’s a gentle but effective way to encourage deep relaxation.

3. Ghee – The Nervous System Nourisher

Ghee is one of Ayurveda’s most treasured foods for a reason. It’s a healthy fat that deeply nourishes the nervous system, supporting cognitive function, digestion, and emotional balance. Ghee is also a natural carrier (anupana) that enhances the absorption of turmeric and other spices, making this golden milk even more effective.

Sip, breathe, and let these ingredients do their magic. 💛
